The mission of The Institute for International Affairs, Qianhai (IIA) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (hereinafter referred to as "IIA") is to take a global, forward-looking, evidence-based approach to the study of public policy and international affairs. IIA operates The Institute for International Affairs, based on the "one institute, two wings" mode for coordinated development. We aim to be regarded as a comprehensive research institute combining the function of think-tank, post-graduate school and international forum, which is of strategic importance in academic and policy research based in Shenzhen. IIA analyses China from a global perspective, provides timely and forward-looking policy analysis and consultancy for central and local government and develops outstanding specialists.
