Abstract

The adaption of Marxism to Chinese situation is a theme of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee. The success of the first century of the Chinese Communist Party was predicated on the adaption of Marxism to Chinese situation. Some used to hold the view that the adaption of Marxism to Chinese situation of Marxism is a universally applicable path, but this definitely does not mean that individual countries can apply Marxism mechanically. From experience, those who are able to combine Marxism with their own culture, civilization and national conditions in a pragmatic way, like China, will succeed. Those countries that cannot organically combine it with their own civilization, culture and national conditions will fail. The Soviet Union and Eastern Europe are examples of this view, in which the two counties were solidifying and cannot keep up with the times.
