Abstract

Globalization is a good thing for human development, if it is not a good thing, we don't need to talk about it. In fact, international or regional organizations that support economic globalization and free trade, such as the WTO (World Trade Organization) and APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation), are all good international public goods. Global development needs the public goods that underpin it. Although China is still a rising power, it is already the world's second-largest economy and the largest trader of goods. Therefore, China needs to shoulder more international responsibilities and provide more and better international public goods to the world. From this perspective, we need to lead the next wave of globalization.
