【Background】
2021 celebrated the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Chinese Communist Party. The CCP has achieved massive contributions in revolution and social construction. A growing number of political parties are deeply interested in the Chinese Communist Party's governing model. Howeer, at the same time, China is facing intellectual siege from the western world, led by the United States, namely the criticism and demonization of the Chinese Communist Party as the greatest threat to Western democratic politics. To address this issue, The Institute founded the major research project “The Ruling Discourse Narrative of the Chinese Communist Party” in 2021. This research aims at
exploring and establishing a systematic theory of Chinese Communist Party governance. The project seeks to summarize the experiences and lessons from the practice of the Chinese Communist Party by means of social science methods, and to distill universal rules of governance. The topic will be based on understanding three important relationships, namely the relationship between history and reality, the relationship between the West and China, and the relationship between Westernization and the modernization of Chinese civilization, explaining the inherent rationality and sustainability of the Chinese political and economic system, and elaborating the essence of the Chinese Communist Party and its embodied forms.
【Core Goal】
This topic seeks to summarize the experiences from the rich practice of the Chinese Communist Party using social science methods, systematically construct concepts and theories about the Chinese Communist Party, distill universal rules of governance, deepen and enrich the doctrinal basis of the Chinese Communist Party's governing discourse.

1. Clarifying three important relationships: the relationship between history and reality, the West and China, westernization and the modernization of Chinese civilization.
