Wang holds a Ph.D. in labor economics from the Renmin University of China. She has spent one year as a visiting Ph.D. student at the Institute of Work and Employment Research at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has conducted policy research at the Institute of Public Policy, South China University of Technology. Her Research cover various fields such as platform economy, platform labor relations governance, industrial policy, foreign investment, supply chain security, and technological innovation.
