Abstract

In recent years, we have been discussing how to build a great modern socialist country. We believe that to build a strong modern socialist country, we need not only a material or institutional rise, but also a rise in knowledge and ideology. A country without a rising body of knowledge and ideas can hardly be considered a great power. If a great power is only a rise of hard power, it will be misunderstood by other countries even if it has no ill will towards others. Here, it becomes extremely important to build a knowledge system that not only explains the practical experience of one's own rise, but also makes one's rise believable and acceptable. There is no doubt that knowledge system is the core of a nation's soft power. It is in this respect that the current state of China's knowledge system is not satisfactory. However, we still lack an original knowledge and thought system, a knowledge system based on China's practical experience that can explain China's practical experience.
